Tinnitus

Tinnitus is characterized by hearing noises in the ears that are not caused by an external source. Types include subjective (only the person hears the noise) and objective (the noise can be heard by others). It can be a symptom of underlying conditions like age-related hearing loss, ear injury, or a circulatory system disorder.
