Touraj Yari, MSPA, PA-C

Touraj Yari is a licensed Physician Assistant in California and certified by the NCCPA. Touraj completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He then spent several years training in emergency medicine as a certified EMT in San Diego. He completed the Physician Assistant program at Western University of Health Sciences where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Touraj began his work in the field of otoneurology by contributing to many of the protocols used in the clinic today with regards to vestibular testing, which has provided him a well-rounded perspective as a provider when approaching treatment of vertigo, dizziness and other vestibular disorders. Touraj has continued his passion of diagnosing and treating vertigo by taking part in the research and development team that continues to be in the center of cutting edge otoneurologic equipment, and by traveling internationally to locations including China, where he has educated medical staff about vestibular dysfunction. Touraj Yari is also certified to complete and interpret Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCV), which allows him to better understand and manage severe cervical or lumbar radiculopathies, peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome and other disorders of the nerves.
